Director of Legal Reform - Maurice Bailey

Mr. Maurice Bailey was called to the bar in 1985 and has had experience in civil and criminal litigation in private practise and corporate and commercial law at the public bar.  He joined the Legal Reform Department in 1994 and was appointed Director of Legal Reform in October 2012.

Mr. Bailey is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the University of new South Wales (Sydney, Australia) where he completed his Master of Laws Degree in Media, Information Technology and Communications Law.

He was appointed a member of the General Legal Council in 2011 by the Minister of Justice.
