Post Cabinet Press Briefing - Criminal Records (Rehabilitation of Offenders) (Amendment) Act, 2026

Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Delroy Chuck, shared key updates on the Criminal Records (Rehabilitation of Offenders) (Amendment) Act, 2026 and its role in strengthening rehabilitation within Jamaica’s justice system during yesterday’s Post-Cabinet Press Briefing.

Students from The Mico University College, along with representatives from the Prefect Association of Jamaica, the Jamaica Union of Tertiary Students (JUTS) and the National Youth Council of Jamaica, were also in attendance, highlighting strong youth engagement in national dialogue.
