Acts passed in Parliament
An ACT to amend the Tourist (Duty-Free) Shopping System Act, so as to change the name of the act and of the licenses, permits and shops governed thereby to establish a duty-free shopping system for arriving passengers and for connected matters.
An Act to make provisions for the protection of systematically importnat clearing in settlement systems from disruptions that may lead to risks to the stability of financial systems, cause loss of confidence in the public payment regime in general, and for connected matters.
An ACT to make new provisions for the establishment and operation of the National Library of Jamaica and to provide for connected matters.
An ACT to repeal the Public Complaints ACT; to make provision for the establishment of a commission of parliament to be known as the Independent Commission of Investigation to undertake investigations concerning actions by membaers of the security forces and other agents of the state that results in death or injury to persons or the abuse of the rights of persons; and for connected matters.
