Shellene Rennie, our Principal Finance Officer, has an extensive background in public sector Accounts and Finance. At the Ministry of Justice, her assignments include the monitoring of the Ministry’s financial resources for all departments and associated agencies. She also oversees the Ministry’s financial performance in line with agreed targets and strategic objectives.
Ms. Rennie also served as the Ministry’s Director of Payroll and Payments where she was responsible for planning, directing, controlling and monitoring salaries and payments. Prior to the Ministry of Justice, Ms. Rennie was employed to the South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) as the Head of Finance and Accounts.
She is certified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and holds a Certificate from the International Public Sector Accounting Standard. Ms. Rennie has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business from the University of Technology, Jamaica. She also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the Excelsior Community College.
